For a lot of companies, the relationship ends as soon as the sale is made. For us, that’s when it starts. We want to support you if something goes wrong. Sometimes packages get lost or stolen during transit. We self-insure every package and replace/refund them if this happens. Sometimes items are defective right out of the box. We refund or replace the items and deal directly with the manufacturers and handle the warranty process so our customers don’t have to.

Giving back is something near and dear to our hearts. We are involved with several non-profits in our communities and across the country. Our fundraising program for SOC-F raises thousands of dollars per month and our internal “employee donation match” program multiplies the generosity of our team and helps causes they believe in.
Training
We strongly believe it’s important to not only have high quality, reliable gear but to know how to properly use it. This, along with the proper mindset, creates a stronger community and a better overall world that we live in. We support many instructors and teachers nationwide and we make access to these easier with programs like our Big Tex Ordnance Training Series, T-shirt program, and AAR program. We also pay to send our staff to attend classes and events throughout the year.
Education
An educated consumer is our ideal customer. We want to attract customers that know what they want and why it fits their needs. We have many articles on our site comparing different products to help customers make the best decision for themselves. Our staff is also incredibly knowledgeable and we’re more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Through our Big Tex Ordnance Training Series we even allow folks to test out products during classes so they can get hands-on experience to help with their purchasing decisions.

Our team members make Big Tex Ordnance who we are and allow us to flourish as a company. As a family, we believe maintaining a great balance between life and work is vital. We want our team members and their families to experience life to the fullest and we take steps to ensure that their role at Big Tex Ordnance does not inhibit that. We do not believe in putting in hours for the sake of putting in hours. Our salaried employees don’t work a 9-5 and we rarely work 40 hours in a week. Through efficient systems and maintaining excellent teamwork, our team accomplishes more work in less time and is free to do more of what they enjoy away from work.
Laid Back Work Environment
Life is too short to be taken too seriously. We maintain professionalism where appropriate, but are careful to not get bogged down with corporate formalities. We like to have fun and foster a creative environment where our team members can be themselves and reach their full potential. Our company culture is laid back and exciting.
